This book inspired me to think about the world from the non-privileged lens. It made me realize the dark side of luxury cruises and vacations. Kincaid's writing style is direct, harsh, and honest. It's like a slap in the face, after which you feel like a jerk. But ignorance is only bliss for those who don't know.
