Gail Giles writes with such a distinct and powerful style. This book is engaging in both plot and theme. When the cool kids in high school try to makeover simon glass, it turns into a spiral that twists sharply into violent disaster. I loved this book because it was so REAL and at the beginning of each chapter there is commentary that lends itself to reader-sleuth-thinking. I would recommend this book to high school aged students.
