it was amazing
bookshelves: historical-novels
Read in June, 2002

This is a fabulous detective story based in 17th Century Oxford. So well written, using real-life historical characters and the situation in England after the restoration, it is divided into 3, with an account of what happened with the principal actors. It all comes together at the very end, as good detective stories should. The research done for this book is excellent.
