it was amazing

ow. having grown up with red-diaper relatives I felt touched by the descriptions of soviet Russia. Perhaps this theme is too close to me to be objective: What drew Kitt to Falin read strongly to me but I don't know if it was the writing or the familiarity with that diaspora. Great retelling of how many layers of both governments made misery for so many people. Left me melancholy...
