Memoir of one of the first Episcopalian women to serve as a priest. She takes a job at a small parish in the country which drives her out essentially because she's causing the congregation to grow. Taylor is an excellent writer and her honest reflections about the harsh realities of church life are so refreshing and challenging. I'd like to be her when I grow up.
