This fast-paced Jane Whitfield novel is a page turner. The concept of saving people by hiding them from a hunter is interesting. The main bad guy is a former police officer. He runs a nation-wide corrupt detective agency. The main plot is about a young boy whose parents have died. He has inherited millions from his grandmother. Barraclough is the main bad guy. He owns the agency. His aim is to kill the young boy and acquire as many of the boy's millions as possible.

Jane's goal is to save the boy and as much of his money as possible. Jane is part Seneca and his basic to her way of life.
