it was amazing
bookshelves: steampunk, young-adult
Read in November, 2011

I absolutely loved this book and was glad it didn't suck like other endings to trilogies have recently (cough, cough Mockingjay - ok not totally sucked but could've ended better). Anyways, I was so excited that this book was coming out and that the author was coming to the Phoenix area the day of it's release, but I unfortunately missed him. In any case, with the fabulous artwork and fantastic storyline, I can't wait to own the whole series.

Goliath picks up where Behemoth dropped off. The Leviathan has left Turkey and is making its way across Russia when it goes slightly off course and ends up picking up the famous inventor, Nicholas Tesla, who has defected from the Clankers and joined the Russians/Americans. Alek decides that joining up with Tesla may be his ticket to ending the war in Europe, even though the inventor is very possibly insane. Dylan's big secret is revealed and life gets pretty haywire for the crew and inhabitants of the Leviathan after that.
