it was amazing

Unlike any book i have read to date, "Crooked Letter, Crooked Letter" transported me to a place i have never really been, the rural deep south. From what i have read and seen in my life experience, this book captured it most brilliantly. This is a story of two men over a period of times of different backgrounds and color but who are linked in so many ways. The book is about the journey, and it is a painful one for both, to find their way to the truth of the lives they have lived. Every time i opened this book, i was no longer in NY but in Mississippi. Only a great book can do that.

All i can say is that i wish they were real people and that i could shake their hands, i loved this book that much. I believed they were real and their story completely owned me.
