I actually read THIS book in the series before "Interview...". If you've never read any books in the series, start with this one before going to the first one like I did. Lestat is a pompous @$$ through and through. Despite this, his character to me is downright affable. His history is facinating. From a young child or royalty to his vampiric turning to his voyage to the new world comign to New Orleans, each page is dripping with richness. <br/> <br/>If they restart the movie franchise, please oh PLEASE make 2 movies based on this book!!! I'd like to see the people who were responsible for the movie of Thomas Harris' story 'Hannibal' tackle this story. <br/><br/><a href="http://www.goodreads.com/review/list/624268?utm_medium=api&utm_source=blog_review">View all my reviews.</a>
