Again, picking up a book for plane reading the back cover lead me astray. What I thought would be a book about sisters finding each other with a bit of crime intrigue was a complicated attempt to write cleverly. The story is almost told backwards and the author's writing style makes it very difficult to tell who is talking to you. Additionally, the story is dark, sad and comes to an absolutely terrible conclusion. I would not recommend picking this one up.

Iklooshar I agree. I think the book is well written and I am not sure it needs the thriller structure to make it work. The writing about grief is moving and does not fit with the crude and rather unbelievable plot.
