This book is an interesting read. The idea that it is not Marxist socialism but rather anti-colonialism that drives Obama is intriguing. The way the author pieces together the anti-colonialist evidence is very convincing and explains many of the unexplainable actions by this president. The people Obama has surrounded himself with can be seen in the same anti-colonial light. This theory explains why Obama wants to weaken America's influence in the world, but does not want necessarily to usher in a "new world order" with America leading the globe. The anti-colonialist mindset is very progressive in that it sees all cultures as equal and any dominating influence from one culture upon another as an evil. This book does well in giving us another viewpoint in which to assess the actions of our president.
