the third star is simply out of respect for this book's place in history, the first two are for the many, many times i laughed at the death of chivalry. but the joke got tired after the first million pages, and i have never found myself wandering so much whilst reading a book. it was as though i was becoming crazier than don and sancho, and i started attacking the book itself, imagining it to be two-headed dragon, a threat to some imaginary lady to whom i had offered my courtly love. i realized that i was symbolic of those who would kill literature, and it felt nice, not finishing the final few pages. because damn, they read some long, boring ass books back in the day. shee-yit.

Kyran Pittman scanning this quickly, I read "courtly love" as "Courtney Love".
