Very interesting, highly documented presentation of myths created and revisited in the weeks and months (and years) following 911. For example, the majority of victims in the two towers were men, yet the prized victims most often presented in the media were 911 widows (and children) with the most prized of all being those currently pregnant. Also, that the firefighters were the heros -- yet they saved no one, and died in the mess due to faulty communication systems. And oh so much more. Take all the mythmaking of this current disaster and compare it to America's past and you have a reprisal of the old captive narratives from the 1800's. Very well worth reading.
