What a wonderful series. I came across this series about 4 years ago when I was working at SonShine Learning Center. One day when I was bored I decided to check out the church library. It had to have been a message from God. It was the first book I picked up. This is the kind of series that you can not put down. Never in a million years would I have thought about a book so much. The spiritual feelings were overwhelming at times. It was as if God was sending me spiritual messages through this book. As soon as I was done with one, I was at the library picking up the next book. The Baxter family went through many trials but because of their faith, they were able to surpass everything.
