**Rereading in May 2012 for ACSC book group**All I can say is read this book. Beautiful, painful, and meticulously researched, this book follows the amazing story of Louie Zamperini, his days as an Olympic runner, AAF bombardier, lost at sea survivor and POW. Prepare yourself for sleepless night of reading and tears for the men that the book brings into your life. Your life might never be the same.

Camie I'm speechless really...

Amber Camie, try With The Old Breed next if you want more Pacific theater WWII non-fiction. This one is an autobiography and simply amazing also. Not as good as this one, but close.
