The Guns of Navarone
by Alistair MacLean
by Alistair MacLean
Rated as mind candy and not serious literature. I generally try to read one book for fun between more serious slogging. It is also fun to read English written as I was taught, with real hyphens between compound words. It is interesting to read MacLean's attempt to duplicate American English. Worthwhile.
