4.5 stars! My obsession with WWII seems to be picking up steam; I just requested the Burns documentary The Great War on Netflix. I've never really had a hobby before, is this how they start?

After a slow start, this book became unputdownable in a serious way. Because everyone on the surface of the Earth has been reading this on the subway for the last several months, I was reluctant to take it with me at first (my own backassward form of snobbery), but once Louie shipped out to war I didn't really have the option of leaving it at home. I was freaking hooked!
