I read this book bit by bit, stopping to savor each section and think on it a while before moving forward to the next chapter. I liked it, although it takes a few pages to get in the groove with the author's style. I like the way she sees life and homemaking as an art and something every Christian can learn. It is not the sort of book you think it to be--it is more spiritual than 'religious' and there are no undertones of guilt if one is not a 'perfect' homemaker. It's truly a joy and an exercise in creativity, as the author intended it to be. It particularly helped me see my work in a new, and refreshing, way.
