The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (Sisterhood, #1)

A book about friendship and how it travels. Four girls of very different personalities and families were once tight friends until the summer split them up. But before they all said their fair-wells, the girls promised to always remember each other...through a "magical" pair of jeans.
Sending the jeans back and forth to each other over the years with notes attached, these girls remained partly connected even though their lives were turning in completely opposite directions. The goings got rough and each had a turn to wear the pants which symbolized their strength...
Ok, I'm making this book sound EXTREMELY boring. The point is, it's not at all! The reason I gave it a three is the fact that it's not generally the genre I read (if it had more action packed fiction to it I would have been all of the five star rating). That's about it, though. This is a chick book. I would suggest this to anyone (any girl) age thirteen and up. It's becoming a classic read. The movie was quite good as well, I believe they got most of the points right.
Very good, I think you can read it three times without getting ultimately bored.
