** spoiler alert ** Ugh, has anyone been tracking how long this has been sitting in my "currently reading" list? *Sigh* I hate romances more than ever but I have to wonder whose crazy idea it was to list this family of psychotics into the category of "romance." I liked Catherine (the elder). She was good comedy relief, until she died.

Joyce Hi Christie, I loved Wuthering Heights, but I think that you have to be a semi-psychotic teen when you read this novel to really appreciate it. That is why I liked it. --Joyce

Christie Bogle Ah, yes. I think you must need to have not yet gained the sensibility that romantic love is a fickle friend and not worth that kind of emotional turmoil to enjoy the book. I really did enjoy Catherine's dramatic whining in the middle of the book and the minute and a half of her openness with Heathcliff was a good moment, but it was over so fast. Kind of reminds me of something... again, not worth it.
