One of my doctors recommended this book. It was suspenseful and eye-opening.
Taking place in Russia around the time of Stalin; the author describes the lives and beliefs of the Russian people under Communist leadership.
The story is about the gruesome killing of 44 children and how one MGB official departs from the government's thinking and attempts to find the killer.
