The Pomodoro Technique is simple, so at first a book may appear to be unnecessary. Actually, it was a good read. It add informations about the artefact of pomodoros (Activity/today/unplanned/...), it explains how to start the habit with some key steps, and how to manage the interruptions during indivisible pomodoro. It also add some insights about the tool to use or not to use, and why.
It's definitily both a good complement to "Getting Things Done" and to "Pair Programming".
