Three holiday-themed stories by three popular cozy writers will make this an easy gift idea for mystery lovers. There are clearly going to be some people who prefer each one of the stories. I enjoyed Laura Levine's Jaine Austen, away from her California base, and vacationing at her parents' retirement home in Florida. She's the only one who roams--Hannah stays in Minnesota in Joanne Fluke's story (lots of recipes!) and Lucy Stone in Maine, in Leslie Meier's tale. All three stories do feature the usually innocuous gingerbread cookie in one form or another.
