To be honest, this was just hard for me to read. First off, I'm a young, white woman which means I flat out don't /get/ some of what Fanon was saying. But even that aside I felt like this book was above me. Fanon did a lot of quoting other writers to the point where I just got overwhelmed - I wasn't familiar with the people he was talking about but he definitely make the assumption that the reader would be. I saw many very insightful and important things in his writing, but I don't I was really prepared to handle it.
