If you are curious about autism and related disorders, Grandin's book is a great primer to read. She does a good job of discussing many relevant issues related to autism, and illustrates them very well with her own experiences. There are times when she states things as fact that are only her supposition, and times when she puts more emphasis on minor research than she should, based upon the amount of research on the subject. Also, she revisits certian topics repeatedly through the book, msking it less concise than it could be. However, her writing style is clear and accessable to anyone. Overall, I would recommend this book to any curious about pervasive developmental problems.
