Jhumpa Lahiri has a great gift of insight into her characters - simple, but deep story which could be anybody's life and thus even more interesting. Also a phantastic eye for detail which makes the settings believable and draw the reader into the story. Warm, compassionate - very enjoyable. I'm definitely looking forward to more books by the author.
