really liked it

This is much cooler than most popular books on physics. Not only is it about higher dimensions (e.g.5 to 13 dimensional space) -- which is now mainstream physics, not science fiction -- but it is written by someone who is really trying to explain the ideas rather than just blow your mind. (By the way, she's not a "science writer" but one of the foremost proponents of extra-dimensional theories.) She uses a variety of metaphors, many new. Some work and some don't, but the bottom line is it's a very worthwhile book. And the news that higher-dimensional physics is being really seriously considered is mind-blowing!
