** spoiler alert **
Started it last night and am already 70 pages in!
After a fast start, I did slow down - mostly because I'm writing at night and for a while there I was just collapsing into bed around 4 am without reading. And the middle did slow down as far as the action, but the characters are wonderful and the plot is very unique. I did want to smack Meghan up side the head for being slow to figure out her Iron power - but hey, she's a teenager and not perfect.
The whole thing with Robin Goodfellow...he's always smirking and calling her princess sarcastically - I know that's his character, but I never warmed up to him or felt any connection between him and Meghan. So I'm having a hard time seeing what Meghan sees in him. On the other hand - I love his royal iciness and I loved the ending.
I can't wait to read the Iron Queen!

I just finished reading this book and I loved it! I'm sure you will enjoy it very much...I cant wait to read the Iron Queen. :-)
I'm loving it so far - I'm about half way. Nothing is ever easy for poor Meghan! The Iron Queen comes out in Feb 2011 and I'm going to do a book signing with Julie Kagawa and another Harlequin teen author, Mara Purnhagen in March in Ohio! I'll have details posted soon :)
I'm originally from Michigan but now I live in Florida. If I'm in MI around that time I will definitely drive the 5hrs to see you all! :-)
