I found this book to the best of the three because the first was the introduction and way, and the third is the how, this is the why behind the whole trilogy.

Lori There's 3 more! Well actually 6 if you include the Liveship trilogy which isn't as good but still darn good. I'd suggest reading it before ending with the Fool's trilogy because things will make more sense at that conclusion.

Kevin Xu I actually read both of them, but I skipped to the Tawny Man first. Now I'm going back to reread the Liveship Traders because I did not enjoy them the first time around. This time around I'm loving it, but I started with the second book since I do not have the first book, only the last two.

Nick (Book-Absorbed Reviews) I like the idea of reading the Tawny man series right after the Farseer trilogy. It makes sense to read those in that order as it also makes sense to read the Liveship series and then the Rainwild quartet. That's the way I plan to approach it now that all of the series are pretty much complete.
