I have to say I had to manage my expectations for the ending of this book. I was mad at first, but the more I thought about it the more it made sense. I also love novels set in the middle ages for some reason. After reading Pillars of the Earth I feel like an expert on day-to-day life back then. This is of course preposterous, since that's the only book I've read about it before this one, practically. I appreciate the research the authors put into the details of their novels. :) This is a good read; it made me think differently about my life.
