This bawdy tale was entirely predictable and more fun than this reader has had between the covers of a book for some time. The characters are well drawn, and the scenery is little more than set dressing. The plot holds few surprises, and a couple of the details stretch credibility, but one cannot help but root for these two people to see through their respective blinders and realize what they truly mean to each other. This reader started this before finishing the last book he was reading and honestly had a hard time putting this down so that he could finish the other one. It's that much fun!
