I need to stop getting books that are not geared toward 'my generation'. This may have been funnier to someone who was alive and watched Carol Burnett's show when it was on. I just don't enjoy 70's sketch comedy too much. I thought this book had a lot of potential. Hey, it's Carol Burnett, how can it not be funny. Easily. This book is focused on Carol's life after the age of 25. It is written to address questions she frequently gets on her "Q&A" tour. She has a cute story to tell about people here and there. I think this book may have been funnier if read vs. the audiobook. The book was read by the author, and she did put some inflection in her performance. You can only do so much though, because I guess there is a rule out there than audio books must be read (or as they say, performed) dryly.
