Sort of "The Big Chill" for Germany's Red Army Faction.......a weekend gathering of old friends to celebrate the release from a long time prison sentence of one of RAF's leaders. Like the writer's previous book, "The Reader", this seems primarily a book of ideas. This one about what happened to the radical leftist ideology of the 1970's, whether there is ever justification for violence, the difference between living out one's ideals vs. a more pragmatic acceptance of the world.
