really liked it
Read from December 01 to 27, 2010 , read count: 2

One of Trollope's Irish novels, which are not his very best work. I read this with my on-line Trollope group. The characters aren't the most realistic and the plot is drawn out a bit. The background of the Irish potato famine caused a lot of controversy when the book was published in 1860.

56.0% "This book I'm re-reading with my online Trollope group. I'm having trouble staying with the group, not because I'm behind but because I want to much to keep reading. The book has me on the edge of my seat and I've read it before and know how it comes out."
