I was in the audio book section of the library when the older woman next to me took this off the shelf and handed it to me saying it was on of the best feel good books she had ever read. Having read "The Christmas Box" also by Evans I knew this wouldn't be my thing but I took it out so I wouldn't hurt the lady's feelings.
The Sunflower was exactly what I was expecting-poorly written and sappy but in thinking what to rate it I realized that despite all this I still enjoyed it more than Tinkers.

Cookiesue9x Well, you are a sweet and thoughtful fool, then

Joanie Thanks, that makes me feel better! Actually it wasn't terrible. Not my thing but I can see how it would appeal to some.
