This was such an awesome book. I have read a lot of books on evolution, but this is the first that actually made me interested in fossils. Very, very cool. Of course it wouldn't convince a dummy that evolution is true because you actually have to have some reading comprehension and be able to understand what you read, but for anyone with a brain that doesn't believe in evolution (I still can't undertand how there are people out there that fit that bill, but I digress), this book will remove all doubt and if it doesn't, you aren't understanding it.

Joel Ok Elaine, I'm a Christian, I'm scheduled to teach a class on Creationism vs Evolution at our church so you can bet I have a slant toward Creationism. I truly want to understand evolutionists' position so I am going to give this book a read. I don't believe it will change my beliefs but I will do my best to be objective. I will try to consent to what I see as legitimate evidence toward evolution. I'm pretty smart and I am earnestly seeking truth so I at least have that going for me as I go through this book.

Elaine You can still be a Christian and still believe in geology, physics, genetics, cosmology, biology, microbiology...etc (all that point to evolution!). :)
