I really liked this book. It was so funny watching this big tough loner get stuck with a shivering little world's-ugliest dog. Thomas knew nothing about dogs when he took Hairy to animal behaviorist Emma. He was doing everything wrong, which really put off Emma. Both of these people have recently had very bad experiences in love, so a relationship was the last thing they were looking for.
The dog's thoughts are also a part of the book, and that's really cute.
A fun read with some substance as Thomas tries to solve the murder of Hairy's master.
