really liked it

Really, really good philosophical science-fiction from the end of Dick's middle period (1964–1970). In this one, he very cleverly turns his famous "go-nowhere" plots into the very material of the book itself, which then becomes a disturbing commentary on the go-nowhereness of life itself—amaze(ment) of death indeed!
