Sizzling Sixteen (Stephanie Plum, #16)
by Janet Evanovich (Goodreads Author)
by Janet Evanovich (Goodreads Author)
Stephanie Plum has to find her boss, Vinnie. Vincent Plum Bail Bonds has run up a gambling debt of R786 000 with mobster, Bobby Sunflower. Stephanie, office manager, Connie and file clerk / ex-prostitute / side-kick, Lula have to save the day - and their jobs. Two of the most delicious men in fiction love independent, feisty Stephanie. Joe Morelli, the good cop, and Ranger, the dangerous security expert. Both men complicate the story - as all good love interests in fiction should.
Stephanie springs Vinnie and tries to hide him at her mother's house, Ranger's building, her apartment and in Mooner's bus. None of which work out. Mooner and Stephanie are captured. All seems lost, but this time, there are hobbits to help.
Stephanie is brave, and loveable. She also has bad hair days, odd eating habits and bad luck with cars. Evanovich has created an iconic character. It is often said that easy reading is the hardest to write. Janet Evanovich has mastered the art of the easy read.
