it was amazing
bookshelves: hilarious, nonfiction

Beth Lisick spends a year trying to improve herself. She reads one self-help book a month for a year inclusing Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus, The Artist's Way, and Other well known self-help guides. It is so so funny. She legitimately tries to follow the advice these books give, and while she does discover a lot of things that DO help, she also discovers a lot of things that are ridiculous. Lisick is extremely talented at describing the ridiculous and making even the most mundane interesting.
