by Joseph Wambaugh (Goodreads Author)
A true story, this tale as told by Wambaugh finds two young robbers encountering two young policemen, in an onion field. The fatal shootings evolve into one of the longest and most convoluted trials in California history. It is a fascinating and tragic story - a real parody of crime and punishment. An excellent read.

Pam, We seem to have many books we like to read in common. Yes, I have read many of Sue Grafton's books but I have not put any reviews of them on gr. I like short concise reviews without spoilers. Fun, light books. Like you I try to put light reading between the heavier and more complex - mysteries, classic teen books I've never read, etc.
