The book, 'Run For Your Life' is about a detective, Michael Bennett, who is chasing down a serial killer. The killer is called the Teacher, because he is trying to teach society a lesson. He wants to silence rich and cocky people. Bennett is a normal guy, a single parent with a large family of adopted children which makes his life even more stressful while tracking down a deranged murderer.

I thought it was a very good book. It was very suspenseful and left you questioning what was really happening until the last few chapters. I enjoyed the brutality and ideas that the novel presented. One thing I would change about the novel is the pace, Michael Bennett's family was just an annoyance that got in the way of the story and was mentioned practically every other chapter.

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys crime novels, although I would not suggest this to a young reader because of the harsh language and graphic descriptions of violence. There are many different aspects to the story that could appeal to many different kinds of people, leaving it open to a wide audience. It is one book in a series, so if someone really likes it, they can continue reading the other books.
