really liked it

Ames & Rosemont have done a considerable job here, and while I don't agree with all their postmodern interpretations of China's master teacher, I do think this book contributes to one's understanding of Chinese thought considerably. Read this and compare each translation with DC Lau (and maybe Legge or Waley) for the best effect.
