I don't laugh out loud at movies or books very much. I'm not sure why, but I don't, even if I think something is funny. People make me laugh. But this book made me giggle. I'm not sure if I just felt so connected to her content because of the way my mother grew up and the way I grew up, but Kimmel struck the perfect tone for me. She's better known for the book previous to this, A Girl Named Zippy, but this one is my favorite. She reminded me about how I used to think as a kid, and the things I did to entertain myself. I won't ever see a kid's bicycle again without thinking about "bike rodeo."
