really liked it
bookshelves: politics, history
Read from September 24 to October 05, 2011

A touch of bigotry mixed with speculation is what this book is mostly about. On one hand it's historically very informative, on the other hand it's trying to predict the future of the world.
The way i see it, yeah the world is not just about America and americans are not very aware of the world outside the united states. Including it's development and the role the other countries play in the world. But i believe things are changing within the american culture.
This book focus on three rising countries- China, India and Brazil. How the world is gonna change in the next few decades and which countries will exert power and influence over the world's affairs, according to the Author's prediction. The post-american world is a book to be reflected on, but not to be believed 100% in my personal opinion. Because it is based on the author's thoughts, wishes and beliefs. Predictions are never totally accurate.
