Ever since the night her sister died, Cass has had the ability to see ghosts. Why? She has no idea. But the fact is the she gets along better with the dead then she does with the live people, which she likes to call “breathers.” I mean, what’s not to love about ghosts when they can find out everyone’s dirty little secrets!

Unfortunately for Cassie, it looks like one of the students from school has found out hers. Tim, VP of student council wants Cass to help him contact his deceased mother. She agrees…in exchange for juicy dirt on the most popular kids at school.

But as she helps out Tim, she realizes that Tim is nothing like all the jerks he hangs out with. She found herself…caring for him! Of course, this is a little tough for her considering she hasn’t had real, breathing friends in 4 years.

Overall, I really liked this book :) But I'd really like to see Cass and Tim's friendship progress. That and I'm still wondering about that whole Danielle thing...

Anyway, this book was waaaay different than others! In most books I have read where the main character has some sort of supernatural ability, I find that they hate their power! Well, not hate, but they just don’t want it. In this book, however, Cass embraced her power! And I absolutely loved that!
