really liked it
bookshelves: science-fiction, humerous

This was an enjoyable time travel / mystery story! The Victorian era feels like something right out of Wodehouse and the characters are quirky and charming. The pace drags now and then - and the story gets puzzling at times - but I still found it a delightful romp. Even if I didn't get all the historical or literary references, it was still a fun read!
