I admit that this book came to my attention because of the movie "Charlie St. Cloud" that comes out on DVD soon (starring the dreamy, if way-too-young-for-me Zac Efron). I wanted to read the book before I see the movie, and I'm glad I did. The story was unusual and slightly unbelievable, but also magical, romantic, and charming. It was a quick read, but had enough depth to keep me interested. All in all, I'm glad I read it :)

Oh, and as a side note -- I found it interesting that the author is the same one who wrote "The Man who Ate a 747", which I read many years ago and found to be charming, witty and fun.
