The big fight between Sebastian and Grelle ensues, with a pause to see why Madame Red did what she did. Followed by a short story about Ciel's birthday and Elizabeth's mother.

The fight was just as fun in manga form as in anime. Grelle is just so over-the-top and Sebastian so cool and collected that you can't help but enjoy it. As for Madame Red, I was pretty moved by her motives before and even moreso when reading them. The effects on Ciel were more emotional and visible in manga form, which allows long shots of just his eyes and sad little face. Especially when he first returns from missing for so long.

The madcap scene at the end is pretty much par for the course. The servants are inept, Sebastian fixes it all, and Ciel maintains his blissful disinterest in it all. However, it was interesting to see Ciel not even hesitate to protect Elizabeth when she is threatened. For all his protestations, he really does appear to care for her.
