This is a great adventure story that reminds me of other globe trotting mystery solving thrillers. The author has given reincarnation a new twist by introducing the concepts of soul identities and soul lines. It is also good to see that the female lead in the story is not a hapless subject but someone who can hold her weight.

I found it a little unnerving that the main character trusted the people at Soul Identity a little too quickly and thought that a twist was coming but it didn't occur.

On the whole this was a very enjoyable book and will be reading the sequel soon.
